Holiday E-Card 

Two Rivers Marketing

When started concepting the Web presence for the new horror record label, Blood Gushing Records, I knew it would be a scream. Merging the cheesy vibe of 1980s B horror with the over-the-top enthusiasm of 1960s album covers, I developed a fun, tongue-in-cheek voice that complements the music and escorts the audience to another place.

I keep a blog to raise money and awareness for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as to offer support to those living with these illnesses. Through humor and empathy, I discuss these devastating, yet taboo, diseases in a light-hearted, and sincere way.

 

So far, my blog has raised more than $10,000 for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

This year I had the pleasure of concepting and writing the Two Rivers Marketing holiday e-card. As a self-proclaimed sweater fanatic, I knew immediately that I was going to work our industrial market into a fun and whimsical sweater theme. Several of our clients told us it was the best holiday card they'd received.

When creating a company holiday video, there's a fine line between maintaining a professional image and being too boring.

With our "Do's and Don'ts of Thanking Co-Workers" video, I strived to be "cheesy, but in a good way." 

 

In addition to writing the script, I provided the VO and the pratfalls. I'm still bruised.
