I left my long-time position in the John Deere internal advertising agency not because it wasn't a great place to work, but because I wanted to expand my creative endeavors. While I was there, I had a wonderful creative director and mentor who, with 25 years in the Kansas City ad industry, taught me so much about leadership and creativity.
